The Company

Town-to-Town Canada online is the creation of Town-to-Town Networks Inc., a Canadian private company incorporated under federal charter in September 2003. The company offices are located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Mission Statement

The purpose of Town-to-Town Canada is to increase knowledge and awareness of and facilitate and support learning about Canadian civic and public affairs within Canada and abroad.

The Principals

The Principles of Town-to-Town Networks Inc. include Alan Strickland and Marylou Strickland of Victoria, British Columbia.

Alan Strickland has more than 30 years experience in public affairs and communications management in the public and private sectors. His public sector career includes senior communications work with the Canadian government as well as communications management positions with the British Columbia government. His private sector work includes communications consulting with a focus on strategic planning and editorial service management.

Marylou Strickland has extensive experience in sales and marketing management in the travel industry. Prior to her work with Town-to-Town Networks Inc. she was the manager of a Thomas Cook franchise in Victoria, British Columbia. She was also an award-winning travel consultant in Toronto and Ottawa.
